One device. Eight parameters, shaped by hand.

omniShaper is a Max for Live device: 8 independent LFO lanes, each with a freehand, node-based curve you draw yourself, mapped directly onto any parameter in Ableton Live — synced to your transport, running natively in Live's own audio engine instead of a browser pushing values in from the outside.

8 Independent Lanes

Shape eight parameters at once. Every lane keeps its own rate, curve, amount, and polarity.

Freehand Curve Editor

Draw any shape by hand — node-based, with tension and grid-snap. Not just sine, saw, and square.

Map Any Parameter

Click Map, click any knob in Live — any track, any device. No modulation matrix to configure.

Hz or Tempo-Synced

Run free in Hz, or lock every lane to Ableton's transport, down to the beat.

Bipolar Amount & Polarity

Push, pull, or invert modulation depth per lane. Bipolar, unipolar+, or unipolar− — your call.

Gravity Bias

Tilt an entire curve toward its ceiling or floor without touching a single node.

Randomize Toolkit

Instant peaks, euclidean rhythms, or full-lane randomization — grid-snapped so it's never out of time.

Native Audio-Rate DSP

Runs inside Live's own audio engine — not browser-pushed control-rate hacks — smooth at any buffer size.

01
Draw the shape

Freehand a curve on any of the 8 lanes, or start from a preset and reshape it. Nodes, tension, grid-snap — all editable live.

02
Map it to anything

Hit Map, click a parameter anywhere in Live. The lane locks onto it instantly — one click on Unmap to release it.

03
It runs itself

Tempo-synced or free-running, rendered natively in Live's audio engine. Save, duplicate, reopen — it's all still there.

Questions, answered.

Do I need a separate Max license?

No — omniShaper is a Max for Live device. It runs inside Ableton Live's own Max for Live environment, which is bundled with Live Suite and available as an add-on for Live Standard or Intro.

Which Ableton Live version do I need?

Live 11 or later, with Max for Live installed.

Is the modulation calculated in the browser or in Live's audio engine?

In Live's own audio-rate DSP. The on-screen curve editor just draws the shape — the modulation itself runs natively, so it stays accurate at any buffer size.

Can I map more than 8 parameters?

Each instance of omniShaper gives you 8 lanes. Load a second instance on another track — or the same one — for more.
